From what I heard on the radio today, he's still in critical condition but is able to speak with doctors now. The hotel is apparently saying that it's not clear yet whether he'll ever be able to perform again, and they've asked 250 people who worked with the show to start looking for other jobs. (Who knew they had that many people working for it to begin with?!?)

The only thing I've heard about the tiger is that it's been "quarantined at the hotel" ...
