Black and blue

My ankle was a little sore yesterday so I thought I must have a bruise, but it wasn't painful enough to worry about.

This morning I noticed that there was indeed a bruise, and it's about the size of a business card and many lovely shades of purple and blue. I also have a couple of smaller bruises, about the size of Pink Pet erasers (remember those?) up my calf.

My question is, how could I not notice doing this? I know I'm always late and rushing, and I assume I must have crashed into something in the process, but good grief.

I haven't got time for the pain, heh.

Now this is just too much

The sushi restaurant is closed for lunch.

We're not close enough to anything else for me to run out for food.

You'd think they could at least feed me on Newsletter Day.
