The Raveonettes are at the Crocodile Cafe tomorrow night (Friday). I remembered that they were going to be here soon, and thank the powers that be that I thought to check today.

Close call. Now to figure out how I'm going to work the evening. Merc? Vogue? Crocodile? Some combination of the above? At least I get to make an informed decision this time.

And I am not ordering Delerium/Conjure One tickets online after all. For $18 in fees, I can damn well go by the Showbox in person and buy them there.

I so wanted to go the Ravonettes show. I had it on my calendar for weeks. But then someone asked if I'd DJ that night, and I can't say no to money, so I had to go for the DJing. Which means I'm tied up from 10pm to 2am and miss the show entirely. Waaaah! Hope it's a great show.

I'm seriously thinking I should do this. I was so mad that I missed them last time (found out about the show the day after it happened!) that I really shouldn't let it happen again.

Thursday, Sept. 4, at the Showbox. It's a while off, but I'm afraid to lose my chance to go by not buying tickets early enough. (Like, for instance, the Aimee Mann concert at Woodland Park this month. *coff*)

And it looks like tickets are also available at the Northgate Theater and at Rudy's barbershops. I know what I'll be doing tomorrow.

Oh, my. I suppose my inability to plan for tomorrow night isn't helping matters here. I guess just keep me informed, and I'll hope to meet up with you at some point that night if possible...

And yeah, if the fees are *that* high, a trip by the Showbox doesn't sound too difficult. (Didn't someone say that tix could be had at the Northgate theater, as well?)

I went back and checked the thread, and yes! tickets are available at the Northgate Theater. Which makes my life tomorrow that much easier. :-)

I think I will go to the show and take my phone so I can at least check messages afterwards. I wish I knew more about the other bands playing, or what time to expect the Raveonettes to go on; that would make those arrangements a bit simpler.

Now just wait for the show to sell out... :-P
