Now we're getting somewhere
Aug. 17th, 2002 11:23 amWent to Jazzercise this morning (yes, I hear you snickering, you can stop now) and for the first time looked into the wall of mirrors *before* class and didn't hate what I saw. I realize my body image is skewed when I can handle my reflection after class--when nothing could possibly have changed that much--but it made me cringe beforehand.
So either I have finally reached a state of fitness that I am comfortable with (unlikely after missing almost two weeks of class) or my body image issues are resolving. It's so easy to see what's wrong. It was really nice to say, "Hey, okay," tuck that away in my mind, and get on with the day.
