Last night I dreamed I had a master's thesis and an English paper (50% of my grade) due in one week. I had a topic for the thesis, but not for the English paper.

I've had these dreams fairly often lately. I wonder what that's trying to tell me. I do know it makes waking up actually enjoyable.

A common phenomenon, that, although I’m clueless as to what that type of dream means – a manifestation of some anxiety, perhaps?

Reminds me of a scene in a madcap 80s flick, “Top Secret.” The hero is captured by the villains and subjected to a brutal flogging, during which he passes out and dreams he’s missed school finals. When he comes to and releases he’s still being flogged, he breathes a sigh of relief and mutters, “Thank God.” = )

I do suspect that the guy dressed as the "Master's Thesis from Hell" at Patrick's party didn't help matters any.
