It's 11:00
Nov. 13th, 2002 11:03 pmand I'm finally home. After having my hopes cruelly raised that the meeting might be over by 9:30. Let me remember tonight next time I think such foolish things. And it got nasty, too--people taking things personally (that perhaps they really didn't need to) and an hour and a half of hashing out numbers. Ick.
And NOW I get to type up minutes from the last congregational meeting, which I would have done before now except I couldn't find the notebook with my notes until Monday. And I don't have all the information I need because there's a handout I haven't had time to look for.
And then I have to take more minutes at the next congregational meeting on Sunday at 6:00 p.m., which does not exactly fit in with my plans for the day. I didn't realize that the meeting was this coming Sunday until I was snarked at about the minutes tonight.
Please, someone remind of this if I'm ever asked to be on a board again. At least if it's more than a one-year term.
