Thanksgiving itinerary
Nov. 18th, 2002 10:07 amI get to have a normal week (or what passes for normal around here these days ;-)) until Friday. (Of course, Sean's birthday is Thursday, so that's this week's special occasion. :-))Friday I go to Seagoth sushi, and then meet up with my parents at a restaurant somewhere as they travel from SeaTac up to Victoria. Saturday Sean and I get to steam clean the carpets and do the serious apartment cleaning. Sunday too, most likely. :-P
Monday my parents are back in Seattle, and then I get to juggle my church job and my cat-sitting with entertaining them. I will have two cat-sitting clients as of Wednesday, so that will keep me running. No Aurifice coffee or Adobo next week (if there even is an Adobo gathering on TG, natch). I suspect sneaking away to Punksgiving at the Mercury may be an essential act of self-preservation, however.
My parents leave Saturday (not Sunday, as I had thought), so if Sean has his game Sunday, we don't have to lie or argue about RPGs and the psychopaths who play them.
And after all this, I will probably have a perfectly nice time with my parents and feel bad about these posts. (But I rather think it's best to be prepared.)
