Holding

In other words, not one of those "brand new day" type posts, but all right. Although this is one of those days that could go either way--I'm balanced on a fine ledge right now. (People standing behing my chair to use the paper-cutter could knock me right off--I hope there aren't any more of them today.)

I have a bit of an anxiety hangover this morning--I'm a little fuzzy and not concentrating very well. I'm trying to keeep thoughts out of my head so the bad ones don't stick. As my concentration is so shaky, this makes it easier than it otherwise might. This way maybe I can clear out some of the debris and replace it with hope.

Yesterday I made a counseling appointment, so that's good. I also called the doctor to authorize my next ultrasound. Plans are that I will go out to Adobo tonight for margaritas and socializing. All in the name of better health...

Apparently no matter how good the directions are, there are just things I can't find when I go there the first time. I knew this, too--just didn't expect it last night. I might be able to get into the show anyway, but I *really* would have rather done it the real way! Grr.

Well, "holding" is better than it could've been. Take heart from small improvements, they could be signs of bigger ones to come. :)

As I mentioned last night, I'm not sure exactly what I'll be doing after errands this evening, but if I'm free, and you're at Adobo, I'll swing down there. Maybe once I know what I'm up to, I should try calling your cell phone to find out for sure what you're up to?

See, half the point of my mentioning that was with thoughts of reminding you to grab it, 'cause I know you often don't remember it without a bit of prompting. ;) Of course, now the question is whether it has enough of a charge to be useful. Guess we'll find out. :)
