I'm hungry. Specifically I'm craving something crunchy like popcorn or rice crackers or chips. This is bad--it's the mindset that causes me to binge on food that's horrible for me.

I must get some snacks for my desk. This eating-breakfast thing really does seem to rev up my metabolism for the day. Damn.

When I eat breakfast, I'm in pain from hunger by 11:00. I'd suggest getting dried fruit, or a Tiger's Milk or Luna bar to have at your desk for the midmorning break. It'll help immensely.

How ironic -- I was just contemplating posting about how, despite having had a very satisfying lunch, I was craving the chocolate fudge cookies I have stashed in my desk... In my case, though, it has nothing to do with metabolism (breakfast? what's that?), as I'm not even hungry -- this is strictly a matter of craving a taste.

I really ought to start eating better...

I've been rescued, somewhat, by finding some Annie's microwave mac and cheese in my desk drawer. It isn't crunchy, but it is salty, and that will do for a while.

I really do need to restock my desk. There's always (always!) candy around here, but lately I've actually been wanting healthier snacks.

Eeesh... I was the same way today - despite actually eating breakfast (which I rarely do) and having a big ol' helping of cajun chicken with pasta & salad for lunch... I was starving by 4 pm. Managed to stave it off, but barely.

BTW - are you for sure going to Seagoth Sushi this Friday? How long does it usually last? (Trying to see if I can work it into the schedule, and still manage to reach my billable hour requirement plus attend the firm party that day.)

Yes, you should come to Sushi!! It starts at 12:30 and runs about an hour if there aren't a lot of people there, longer if there are. You can leave at any time, everyone understands that some people need to get back to work.

It's an addiction, I tell ya. I'm thinking about that nagiri even as I type. Mmmm.
