I feel pretty...

It's amazing what going back to work can do. I got up this morning, looked in the mirror, and felt pretty for the first time in weeks. Even my skin is looking decent again; whether that's due to finally getting outside over the weekend or the new cream I got from deadrose_black, or just getting around and moving again, I don't know. Nor do I care. ;-)

As of last Thursday, I've finally gotten somewhat active again. I've had lots of socializing and laughter, driving places and getting away from home, a bit of exercise...the sort of things one doesn't necessarily appreciate till they go away. I know that I'm not 100% and that there will still be setbacks. But today is a lovely day and I feel energetic and I'm finally going to be productive again. And that's good enough for now.

As far as feeling pretty, I understand what you mean, but I must say that last time I saw you, on your birthday, you looked very beautiful. Your eyes were sparkling, and your smile was radiant. If you can pull that off when you're still in as much pain as you were then... whoo. Don't stand next to me when you're feeling good, Biotch! *giggle*
