Life takes a funny turn

m_cobwebI'm gathering my keys, phone, and wallet to dash off to Jazzercise when I knock over the Papasan cushion. I struggle to put it back, but as I'm the poster child for "haste makes waste," it takes me several tries. Then I go to pick up my keys, etc. from the floor where I dropped them when the cushion fell, but--no wallet. As I'm looking for it, and now late, there's a buzz from the front door. UPS is there with the 9-buckle boots I won from eBay.
If I'd left on time, I would have missed UPS and spent the rest of the week trying to catch up with them.
Of course, the wallet still hasn't turned up, 45 minutes later, and that's a little disturbing...

Damned if that doesn't look like a visit from the Zone of Non-Existence. (Where things disappear into for short periods of time, to return short distances away from where you left them.)
