I'm sorry. I know it's a quiz, with a graphic even. But--but--

tortoiseshell cat
You are a tortoiseshell or calico cat. Man, are you
nuts or what? You should try taking some
tranquilizers. Calm down, you hyper thing!
You've got a great personality though. You're
so lively and you are known for getting into
mischief.

Are all tortoiseshells complete psychos? Never met one that wasn't. Our Feather is 13 years old and just disturbed...always has been...she's lucky her daddies love her and haven't sent her to the violin factory. :b

Ours is a psycho in a delightful, always-happy, always wanting love kind of way. We got her as a semi-feral foster when she was six months old, and it must have been two years after that before I actually saw her sleep.

"I'm going to flop over on my back right under your feet, so that if you don't stop and stroke my tummy you'll trip on me!" Yeah, maybe a bit psycho there... ;)

The singing as she bounds from room to room is nifty, though.

Surprisingly, I got tortoiseshell as well. I'd see myself as much closer to the "smoke grey" description, or possibly black&white...

well, I guessed as much about you ;)

here's me:

grey cat
You are a smoke grey cat. You're very peaceful and
comfortable to be around, and you like to spend
time in quiet places. Lay off on the lithium,
pal!

I wouldn't mind getting that one...and I'd fit in well at home.

I'm a tortie, too.

One of my favourite cats ever was this beautiful black black tortoiseshell named "Sundrop". She knew so many tricks that we would forget what she'd learned until she heard a cue and did her trick. The thing she was best known for was collecting the caps from 16oz bottles of Coke and hoarding them and playing with them, and when I called out "bedtime, Sundrop!" at night, she would gather them one by one onto her side of the bed and come to sleep, wrapped around them.

She is the cat that made me declare that I would never, ever have an indoor/outdoor cat. I took her with me when I moved in briefly with my dad, my grandpa left the screen door open, she got out, and was hit by a car not 5min later. I found out when I got home from work. She was buried with every Coke cap I could find and her favourite blankie.

Torties rule.

God, that's sad. I am so sorry about Sundrop.

Torties are awesome. I adored the ones I worked with at PAWS, and I was not-so-secretly thrilled when we decided to keep ours. :-)
